Sauvain

The "fourme of Montbrison" has a characteristic orange-brown rind with a creamy-coloured pâte, speckled with gentle streaks of blue mould with pasteurized and unpasteurized cow milk. It has the Appellation d’Origine Controlée status (protected designation of origin). The area of production of the Fourme of Montbrison is "Remarkable site of taste" approved.
