Cycling from the Port at Roanne to Iguerande 21 km northern in Burgundy will invite you to explore the lovely Roannais countryside.
Description
The greenway follows the towpath of the Roanne Digoin Canal “Le Canal Tranquille”.
You will be able to join (4 km) the gorgeous little village of Charlieu (“Village de Caractère”) where you can visit beautiful monuments, discover historical heritage and taste famous specialities like “Praluline”, delicious pastry or “Andouille de Charlieu”.
