Description
Village labeled Station Verte and Sport Nature Village, perched between 800 and 1000 m altitude, with its famous Matagrin Tower overlooking the Monts du Lyonnais, called 'the Lighthouse of the department'.
The area is also located close to shops (bakery, grocery store, pharmacy, medical center...), towards the Violay Adventure Park.
This is an area of approx. 1 ha with 6 pitches. This area includes a Sanylis® PMR sanitary block with a shower, a sink, and a toilet. A location is occupied by a Cabadienne®, unusual wooden accommodation with a 'cocooning' atmosphere.
Bivouac area installed near the GR7® which crosses the village of VIOLAY, recently listed as a stage of the GR7®.
